Root Canal / Endodontic Treatment

In-depth professional treatment

Every tooth consists of a crown and one or more roots. The roots consist of blood vessels and nerve fibres, which taper towards the tip (apex) of the root. When performing a root canal treatment, we try to preserve the function of an infected or already dead tooth, since an infection can easily expand into the jaw bones or the entire jaw area.

Inner sealing – root canal treatment

The aim of endodontologic (root canal) treatment is to remove bacteria and protect the cleaned area by sealing it. High-tech microscopes, special files and laser therapy are instruments we use for preserving teeth.

Since we do not want you to feel any pain at all during the treatment, root treatments are always performed with local anaesthesia.
