Cosmetic dentistry can be as easy as little contouring or reshaping of teeth to advanced teeth whitening or state-of-the-art orthodontic treatment with invisible aligners combined with cosmetic porcelain veneers.
DSD is one of the main tools in modern cosmetic dentistry that enables you to visualize how your final smile will look like before proceeding with any dental procedure. It is based on a number of photos taken for you during a photography session; then, the computer images are converted into 3D models so you can see the possible changes to your smile from all views.
DSD allows us to give our clients complete smile simulation using trial smile which is temporarily bonded onto the teeth with the same appearance of the final smile. You can keep the trial smile for several days and start speaking, eating and smile and then give us your concerns (if any) so we can modify the design before proceeding with the final smile construction.
What is really interesting about DSD is that both the dentist and the patient participate in designing the smile and making certain changes to get the desired results. The trial smile, also known as a mock-up, enables the patient to get the feedback from relatives and friends before getting the final smile. This is more important for patients with gaps, crooked, stained or missing teeth and for patients who need prosthetics or implants that require multidisciplinary dental procedures before the procedures are completed.

In an extremely gentle, careful and precise process that demands the highest skills of both the technician and dentist, wafer-thin, ultrafine translucent ceramic shells (only up to 0.1 mm thick) are bonded to the tooth without the need for any filing (a non-invasive method). Only the highest quality material is used for this technique.

Ceramic veneers

At VIO, we follow the general approach for making porcelain veneers starting with photography session, taking chair-side digital impressions, digital smile design, viewing the images and selecting the desired smile design. Then, we start teeth preparation by minimally removing the enamel of the front teeth for creating room for the veneers followed by bonding the trial smile. Afterwards, we start transferring the new smile design to the digital impression of the reduced teeth and fabricating the veneers in our in-house dental lab. The final step is bonding the veneers to their corresponding position on the teeth using tooth-coloured bonding material and high-intensity light.
Invisalign® clear aligners
The Invisalign® process
With the aid of 3D computer graphics and stereo lithography, a pre-determined treatment goal is divided into various stages. A special brace is individually made for you for each stage.

The treatment lasts between four and 18 months. During that period, you will have to wear the brace for the respective stage in your upper and lower jaw for about two weeks. Gradually, each brace will gently shift your teeth into the pre-defined position.

During the treatment, the progress of the alignment is checked at regular intervals until the treatment goal is reached.

The treatment is almost invisible. You can align your teeth without anybody noticing it.

The braces can be taken out when eating, drinking or doing your daily oral hygiene. Therefore, you do not have to restrict your daily activities or your preventive routine.
